Ouch! I can’t walk…
Between doing 130 box jumps on Tuesday and maxing on squats yesterday my calf muscles are so sore I can barely walk. When you workout really hard and then go home and sit down all day the stress on your muscles is compounded. What I should have done was sat in an ice bath when I got home but its too late for that now. The best thing I could do now is another workout – if I can, that is. I may have to go swimming or maybe go for a nice long walk.

I am bummed cause I wanted to come in and work on some Olympic lift stuff tonight. Sigh.
What is your workout schedule like, BTW? How many times a week do you do a WOD and work on your Olympic lifts and all that?

The last two or three weeks I’ve been taking about 4oz of meat to the gym and after I’m done being nauseous from the workout, I have it. Basically I have it just as soon as I can get it down. It’s really helped my recovery big time. I no longer hobble around at work now with sore muscles.
